While managing our files and folders, we come across some files which we have to send to a particular location but the original Send To menu doesn’t provide that desired location so, we have to copy that file/folder and paste to that particular location.
This task when repeated many times becomes an irritating job for most of us so, why not put that particular location in the Send To menu by using the tool Sent To Toys 2.6.
Sent To Toys is a user friendly utility which is an enhancement of the Send to system menu for improving your productivity. It is fully compatible with Windows2000, XP, 2003 Server, Vista, 7, 2008 Server.
Sent To Toys allows you to personalize your menu content of Send To for drives, folders and programs by ‘Add’ and ‘Remove’ options.
This utility adds 13 options in the Send To menu. First is the ‘Clipboard (as name)’ which copies the name of the file or files to the clipboard. You can change its settings by going in the option ‘clipboard’ or when you send any file just hold down the CTRL key to change the settings for this extension.
The settings includes various self-explanatory options on which you just have to click tick if you want that option to be enabled.
The second option is send to ‘Command Prompt’ which opens a DOS console window, setting the current directory to the selected folder. Hold down the CTRL key to change the active directory to a different folder.
Now if i will hold down the SHIFT key it will force the use of the COMMAND.COM regardless of the Windows version.
The Send To ‘Default Mail Recipient’ will create a new e-mail with attachments and predefined defaults for the recipients, subject, and message. Its settings can be changed either by going in the option ‘Default Mail Recipient’ or holding down the CTRL key when sending any file.
