If you are a game freak and you are not reading this review then you are going to repent in future. Now, let me tell you why, I used to used to rub my hands on Counter Strike during my engineering days, but then I only had Fraps to record my games. I was desperately searching about a tool which can help me in recording my games but I never found any tool. But I would not let this to happen with you, as you can use a tool named as Taski Desktop Video Recorder, which can record anything on you desktop.
The main drawback with the fraps was the recording for a shorter duration of time which was around 30 seconds, but this tool will let you record any game, any operation being performed on your system or any thing happening on your computer screen. You can record anything on your computer and without any restriction in the time limit. Moreover the format of recorded video will be in .avi format.
This size of this tool is very small, around 300 Kb and thus it will take no time to get installed. Once installed it will detect the program which is being run currently on your system and thus you can see the name of that application in the title bar of the tool. Then you are supposed to configure this tool. First of all you will have to adjust the area which will be recorded like whether you want to record only GDI area, this setting will be available under Display tab.
Now, you can assign the output folder for the generated video under the directory tab. Then you can define the codec for the generated video and the audio input device under format tab. Then you can assign the hotkeys for taking a snapshot or starting, stopping and pausing the recording being done on your system. Under the custom tab you can assign the specification regarding recording frames per second and the width of the frames. With the help of stats tab you can see the stats or the specifications about a video which has been recorded last time.
