We started Troublefixers in November 2007. Till date we have been receiving readers problems related to computers via a contact form. With time, the number of problems we are receiving everyday are much more than we can attend to.

So we came up with this idea to make a Question Answer Portal where in you can submit your questions and you can answer the questions submitted by other readers. This is our effort to ensure that all the question asked by our reader are attended to properly.

You can simply ask / submit a computer related question using the Submit Computer Problem Button in the top header of the website which looks like this:

You can also submit your problem by clicking the button at the end of each article. It will take you to the question submission form at the answers.troublefixers.com

Many of our readers have advanced knowledge of computers and can help other readers with their computer problems by answering their questions. This is like an online user community helping each other to solve computer problems.

So we request you to take out some time and register as a user at Answers By TroubleFixers . This way you can create a user which is password protected and you can start helping people with their computer problems.

There is a Leaderboard on Answers By TroubleFixers which reflects your score which you earn by helping others. We will be soon running some giveaways and send goodies to our readers who will be helping others with their problems as a token of our appreciation for their contribution. We will be moderating each question and answer to ensure that there is no spamming or stray content to avoid any inconvenience to our readers.

When TroubleFixers turned one, we were working with two HP laptops both running Windows Vista and two desktops one Pentium 4 and other Celeron both running Windows XP.

In past one year we have expanded our collection of computers and gadgets that we work on. Presently we have 2 HP laptops running Windows Vista and Ubuntu in dual boot, one Apple Macbook Pro running Mac OS X, One Pentium 4 and one Quad Core based Desktops running Windows XP and Widows 7 in dual-boot. One Sony Play Station 3 and three LCD monitors. We use all of these machines for work, research, testing and learning. Along with this we have also got one Apple iPhone 3G and one Apple iPhone 3Gs added to the fleet of gadgets and machine we work and write about.

In this one year we have seen growth in number of posts, comments, email subscribers, traffic and number of queries that we receive from our readers. We have expanded our work resources from two computer tables with three computers to two home-offices with five computers and two smart-phones.

After moving technixupdate.com, we have to move troublefixers.com from lunar pages to zzhosting due to repeated request from lunarpages team to decrease the resource consumption.

We had to take this step because of some shared resource usage limits on lunar servers. The movement was done by us on 10th of May, because of which you might have faced some temporary issues in accessing troublefixers.com for a day or two. Now everything seems to be stabilized and back to normal.

Due to movement we were not able to write new articles, but now everything is now setup properly and running smoothly. we will start writing new articles from now on.
