Change Language While Playing Video In VLC With Dual Audio Support

by Abhishek Bhatnagar on February 11, 2012

There are times when you might have a video or some movie file to play of extension .mkv which is in dual language, for example in I bought a movie, which supported to language English, Hindi which meant I could play the same movie either in any of these languages. But when I played the movie I noticed that the movie started playing in English language by default, so tried finding the way with which I could change language while playing video in vlc player.

If you are encountering the similar things, follow the procedure below to solve this problem.

Run the dual track video firstly in vlc player, and then right click on the video currently playing or paused in vlc player and select the language or track in which you would like to hear the movie. [ as shown in the image below ]

Change Language While Playing Video In VLC

go to Audio>Audio Track>Track 1 Or Track 2.

As we know the above tip require you to play the video in VLC player, so in case you have windows media player and dual audio video is not playing in it, you can download the free VLC media player from here
