[How To] Change Time Zone Settings In Windows 8 When Travelling Across Time-Zones

If you are a frequent traveller and travel across time zones, you may like to change the time zone in your Windows 8 laptop, tablet or phone to keep the correct time and make other softwares like calendar and schedulers work properly. Also setting the time zone correctly will display emails and other items more properly in Windows based email clients.

In this article, we share with you a quick guide to change time zone in Windows 8 computers, tablets, phones and laptops. It is very simple and easy to follow, simply follow the steps below.

Step 1: Open Control Panel. (How To Open Control Panel in Windows 8). Click on “Date and Time” icon.

Step 2: To change the time zone, on the Date and time tab, click the button which says “Change time zone…

Step 3: From the time zones, select the correct option based your location.

Step 4: After you have selected the time zone, check if the date and time are displaying correctly. If not, click on the “Change date and time…” button.

You can then select the correct date and time for your time zone.
