Hi,
My computer is 5 years old, last month hard disk is damaged. I changed the new hard disk(IDE), after OS installation sstem produce too noise. Sometimes computer restarts automatically. Pls help me to solve the problem.

i scanned my hard disk since no errors found , formatted my hard disk , fan is working propely .. but the pc still hangs .. moreover installed windows 2 times but cant get solution anyone can help m fed up wid working up with pc..

I cleaned the the processor and the smps (with a blower)…..and then the comp
stopped hanging …………..thanx bro

Hello,
My computer hangs and even if i format the computer it doesn’t work.can u help me? I had put kaspesky internet security 2010 and if i install it it doesn’t open on start up and i checked in msconfig it was ticked.Help!!!

Could be some problem with your hard drive or the bus connecting the hard drive to the motherboard on your computer

hello, i m a laptop gamer bcoz my desktop is even older than my laptop.
my laptop is core2duo and ram 3 GB and i still have issues with my computer hanging after (i really meant it) terminating an internet game. the fan is spinning madly with loud sounds so i think its overheating that causes it? coz sometimes although i dun run the game long enough, it still hangs…
i m scared that if this phenomena will corrupt my datas…

Thanks a lot to troublefixers for providing such a great ideas I’m having this hanging problem with my PC. My question is: If I run a check disk/ disk scan, with there be a possibility of my data or any saved files getting deleted or that my OS be corrupted?

while starting windows it shows the affected viruses and the system will not be in logon even until the viruses to delete
