hey man…………….. i had a new trick the earlier tricks didn`t work for me…………….
like Ripal Patel said…… go to start-run-regedit-and press enter
ctrl+f find the file “mountpoints2″ with out quoit after delete it

i ave deleted that “mountpoints2″ many time s but each tim eit opens up again……..
then the trick worked….by dat i have replace the name of the
“mountpoints2″ to “mountpoints21″………..now iam not having any problems………..

first go to run then write ” regedit”- that is registry

then find ” ctrl+f”

in this box write “mountpoints2″ and delete it ……

then again run this proces until all these files (from “mountpoints2″ ) are not deleted

then u will see ur problems is solved…………….

oh My God i tried a lot to resolve the problem i did new window two three times but my problem was not solved than i tried to resolve through internet and i found this website i my problem is resolved now every thing is ok Thanks for the solution

i am also have same problem but couldn’t help the 3 solutions. when tried with right click then instead of “Open” it shows “OpeN”. whats prob ?

when i open my any drive it open seperate windowa and my hidden foder not show i have done checked value 1 but after 2 second autometic it exixt 0 then how solve this problem

tried all the above methods, but they don’t seem to be working/
i think it is due to some virus attack, in my system.
also another problem i have is that the hidden files and folders are not visible.
