Capture Images From Any Video, Movie or TV Show

Many a times, it happens that we like to have the wallpapers from our favorite movies scenes or TV shows but it is not always possible to find every wallpaper available on the Internet according to our requirement. Sometimes, a snapshot is needed to explain the complete process of the work. Play the complete video and using pause at various positions is very irritating. To solve all these problems, you must use the tool named as ImageGrab. It is a wonderful tool to capture the image at the correct point of time.

ImageGrab is small freeware of 2.25 MB only. It will help you to capture the snapshots from your favorite videos. It really very easy to use the utility that makes the task more comfortable. Now, have the images as per your choice and make a wonderful collection. There is a snapshot of the tool for you.


You have to open the required video. Play it and set the pointer at the desired timestamp. The complete timing and the timestamp will be shown just above the video as shown. Also, the size of the image to be captured will be displayed there.


To take a snapshot, use the fifth tool in the toolbar. The next tool helps you to copy the image directly to the clipboard. Then, you have the intervalometer. Next is the tool to provide you the full screen mode. It can also be used in place of your players if you are struggling with the one. You may put the sound off, since they are not required at the time of a snapshot. The arrows will help you to flip the video vertically and horizontally. The snapshot shows the horizontally rotated image. There are few other options also which will help you to capture the image.

The image will be saved in pictures in your library. It will be labeled as the name of the video followed by the timestamp. Though the default settings can be changed. The image can be saved in either the bmp or jpeg format.

It accepts a large range of videos formats i.e. mp4, avi, mpeg, mpg, wmv, vob, mts, m2ts, ts, m1v, m4v, 3g2, asf, mp2, mov, mkv, mpe etc. But there are few formats which are like supported. Now, you have a wallpaper of your favourite actor in the pose you like. You can also enjoy capturing yourself from the sweet memories with friends and parties.

The tool has been tested on Windows 7, so it will be compatible with other versions also.
