If you have a file in your computer and you have doubt that it may contain virus, as virus was detected by malware scanner in my friends computer, but my malware scanner is not detecting virus in it, then Jottiq is the best application for you. Since no malware scanner is perfect, one may detect some type of virus while other cannot. Jottiq works with jotti.org which let you scan your file with more than 18 popular malware scanner including Kaspersky, Avast, AVG, NOD32, Quick Heal, F-Secure, BitDefender and more.
Jotti is wonderful service like most online malware scanner, but you may face difficulties in using it. As it does not support multiple upload nor queuing of multiple files ahead of time, so you have upload and scan them a single file at a time. With Jotti you may also face the problem that as it is a online scanner, it take time to upload file before scanning.
But Jottiq is a tool that is easy to use and has advantages over Jotti online scanner. Adding a file to a process queue is quite easy as just dragging and dropping them. You can also also right click on the file and select Scan with JottiQ if you don’t want to drag- and -drop.
Once files are queued up for submission, after clicking Process Queue, files are uploaded for scanning. This improves scanning and uploading time of the files. JottiQ offers you to scan three files at the same time, thus reducing our task of uploading and scanning single file. After scanning the files, results are displayed in the application window. JottiQ can not only handle single files, but entire folder can also be scanned with this application. Unfortunately, files having size more than 20mb of size cannot be uploaded.
Other option that might be useful to you is that it can scan all the executable files of all the processes currently running on the system. Just click on the button circled in red as shown in the figure below.
Jotti is a great online scanner service, but JottiQ makes it even better with its increased functionality.
