Find Programs To Open Unknown File Types In Windows With OpenWith.org

Trouble:

It happens many times when you have a unknown file type, which cannot be recognized in windows with any of the program installed in your computer. In that case you have no clue about the program which can open that file, you cannot open file by double click.

OpenWith.org provides a free desktop application which lets you find out the correct program to open a unknown file type. More over it will let you download the free program alternative which can open that file.

Fix:

Openwith.org will add a context menu link in the right click menu, as “OpenWith.org – How do I Open This?” OpenWith.org website has a long list of file extensions with their associated programs and links to download those programs.

After right clicking on the unknown file type, the desktop application of openwith.org will prompt with the free alternative program to open the file.

You can download the main or free alternative program which can open the file for you.

Note: This application will require .net framework 2.0 to run on your computer.
