I happened upon your site after googling "automatic update disabled". I ended up having to download the SuperAntiSpyware. It worked like you said. I got my automatic update going and so far no new windows are opening up in my browser. Previous to finding your site I tried AVG and Lavasoft's Ad-ware to no avail. Thanks and God bless!!
