Some times when you just click send button to send a mail in gmail, you may realize that you want to stop it and may need to add some thing more you missed or you might have sent to the wrong person. Gmail already has a feature to which allows you to undo or stop that mail from being sent if you click the undo link with in specified time interval of by default 10 seconds.
But you may miss out to press the undo link shown just above the sent mail for 10 seconds, now you can increase this time in seconds from 10 seconds to maximum of 20 seconds. With this time increased to 20 seconds you have enough time to decide whether you want to stop sending that mail in gmail.
Here is how you can configure this option, follow the procedure below
1. Log in to your gmail.com with your username and password
2. Now go to settings by clicking the link shown on the top right corner of the webpage as shown in the image below.
3. Under settings, Under general tab locate the feature undo send – you will see the drop down to configure the Send cancellation period in 5, 10 or 20 seconds select the value as desired.
4. After selecting the time interval, click the Save Changes button at bottom of the page
