Facebook has finally seemed to roll out the simplified privacy settings, so now you can configure your privacy settings in facebook quite easily as these privacy settings are not very difficult to understand and apply.
The new facebook simplified privacy settings easily explains different rights allotted to different people connected with you on facebook, depending on the level on relationship with you.
You can access Facebook Account Privacy settings through right side Account drop down menu and then select Privacy Settings as shown in the image below.

You can still customize these settings on a more elementary but still understandable level by clicking the Customize Settings link as shown in the image above.
Facebook simplified settings are now much more, easy to understand and with no confusion this time, so even if your grand mother is using facebook, she can understand and configure facebook privacy settings.
