The above method has not succeded in my case. When i did it, it showed “the type of file is ntfs” in d e and f drives and for c drive it showed “the type of file is fat32″ I don know what it means.but still the system checks the files every time it boots.

Fantastic fix, I was about to reformat the offending drive and was lucky enough to find your site before I did that. I followed the directions and it worked perfectly. No more "Mini Blue Screen of Death" Keep up the great work!

In each drive of my computer there are folders named system volume informaion and xerox. Are these virus files. If so how to remove these files permanently. I have tried to delete these but, there was a message " cant delete, there programs are being use by othere persons or too many files are opened".

Please give some suggestions.

@Priyank
I would suggest you to try disable your antivirus, then run the commands in above post, after the disc scan is complete, enable your antivirus, restart your computer. It may help!

The above method has not succeded in my case. When i did it, it showed "the type of file is ntfs" in d e and f drives and for c drive it showed "the type of file is fat32" I don know what it means. And ofcourse i have got a good antivirus in my pc so i don think that it is a virus. I have also tried Regcure which claims to b an expert in chkdsk problems but still the system checks the files every time it boots.
Any suggestions are warmly welcomed.
