How To Make Free Audio, Video Test Call In Skype – Skype Test Call Does Not Show In Contacts [ Solved ]

With the new version of skype released some time back that, the skype test call contact is no longer shown in skype contacts so for all those who are used to configure audio, video before making call with skype. For those who are wondering about how to make free skype test call, there are two ways to do it explained below.

Following are two ways to make free audio, video test call with skype for mic and web cam testing.

Method 1

1. Skype test call option is now found under tools >> option in the new skype interface.

2. Under options, select audio settings in the left pane as shown in the image below

As you can see in the image above, you can make free test skype call by clicking the link shown at the bottom in audio settings options.  

Method 2

If you still prefer the old way in this a skype test call contact is there in your contact list then in that case you will need to add echo123 as you skype contact manually as shown in the image below.

Once it has located the skype test call contact, add it to your contact list in skype

 
Once you added it, it will show up in your skype contact list as shown in the screenshot below.
