Stop, Block Access To Windows Applications or EXE Files

You can easily put lock on files and folders by using various software, but it is really tough to block or prevent access to Windows applications. You might me using applications like messengers etc. which could contain your password information or there may be certain applications which you don’t want others to use without your permission.

So to block access to application the possible ways are hacking or following some long procedures for every application you want to block. But today we are going to tell you about a nifty tool named App Admin which can block any applications in a very short duration. All you need to do is to drag and drop the applications into this tool and then this tool will automatically block the access to those applications.

The best part of this tool is its simplicity and no effect on your system’s performance. It even doesn’t require to be installed and you can directly run it from its exe file or even can carry it in pen drive or other medium.

Now to add applications in this tool, click on Add button and then chose the location where you have installed those application. The other easy way to add applications is just simply drag and drop desktop shortcuts of applications in this tool. You can add any desired number of applications.

Once you added applications, put the tick mark before all those application whose access you want to block. Once you done with it, click on Restart Explorer Button and then your Explorer will restart in few seconds. Once it gets restart, try to open any application. You will see the following error for all those applications which you have added in this tool.

Hence nobody will be able to open those applications without your control. Basically the method which it use to block the applications is Hashing. So even if somebody try to change name of application and then try to open it, then too it won’t open. The only disadvantage of this tool is that there should be a password to open this tool, but unfortunately this tool doesn’t have password option. So you will need to keep it at a secure location on your own.

You can even delete the added applications from this tool by putting tick mark before all those applications which you want to delete and then click on Delete button. Those application will then instantly removed from this tool and then they will become accessible to all.
