Hello readers, this week again, we have come up with a contest for you. Although Floppy Drives have almost become history now after the era of pen-drives, but many of our old Desktops still have a floppy drive attached to it. This weeks contest question is related to that only.
The rules will remain same as before. The question is:
The Light or LED of Floppy Drive Keeps Blinking Even When There is No Disk Inside, how to fix it up?

The only reason why the light keeps on glowing or blinking even with no floppy is that it is installed improperly on the system. To be precise, the Ribbon Cable of the drive must be connected backwards. This improper connection can be fixed:
1. Shutdown the system.
2. Unplug the floppy drive cable.
3. Flip the cable and install it properly with the drive.
I think the problem should get solved.
The antivirus might be scanning for removable devices…
I guess because of virus but I don’t know what virus.
Kaspersky can remove it, I think.
