Remove Amazon Shopping & Browsing History On

If you have spent past few hours browsing Amazon Website for a perfect gift for your spouse or kids, there are high chances that the same items or related stuff will show up if they open Amazon website on the same computer. This may spoil the surprise factor from your surprise gift ! Well don’t worry, there is a solution to this problem.


In this post I will tell you a simple setting at Amazon Website which will disable this feature of saving browsing history which you can use if you want to hide your Amazon shopping suggestions to remain just up to you.

To turn off Amazon Browsing history, log into your Amazon account and click Your Account link at the top right corner of the website.



On Your Account page, scroll down to Personalization and click “Your Browsing History Settings


On Your Browsing History page, you will see a yellow colored button “Turn Off browsing history”. Simply click this button to stop saving your Amazon browsing history on the your computer and your online account.
