Trouble:
We recently received a problem from a reader regarding MSN messenger on his computer. This is what he said in his mail:
I have just uninstalled msn messenger from my computer but it does seem to be completely removed from my computer as I can still see the traces behind like files and folder related to msn messenger, how can i remove it completely.
This may happen to you also when you want to install another new version of MSN messenger on your computer, but even after removing the previous version of MSN messenger you will see the error saying the following messages.
Error Messages
‘Another version of the product is already installed’ or ‘Your computer has a newer version of MSN Messenger than the one you are trying to install’
In order to solve this problem there is a free tool called ZapMessenger which lets you remove the Msn Messenger from your computer completely leaving no traces behind.
Fix:
When at the first time you run ZapMessenger it will try to remove the msn messenger normally and if it fails it will remove and delete msn messenger forcefully.
Please note: It may not work if you have messenger plus installed, so make sure to remove messenger plus removed before running this tool.

Cool program finally i can remove all of its reference
used it and it worked!! was having real problems getting rid of live messenger so i could reinstall! This program did the trick in seconds. Thanks!!
