All modern web browsers includes a feature known as Bookmark. Bookmarks are the shortcuts to open the most frequently needed web pages so that we don’t need to enter the web address again and again. This feature simply allows us to open any added web site in just one click. Each browser has its own built–in tool for managing these bookmarks.
Now whenever you require to create a backup of the bookmarks so that you can copy those to another system or just want to take a backup for future reference, you will need to follow certain number of steps which is different for every browser. Most of you must also have habit of using more than one web browser, so to take back up of bookmarks from every browser is a little complicated and time consuming job.
To ease all your job, you can simply use a tool named Bookmarks Backup. As the name suggests, this utility will allow you to take backup of all your bookmarks and that too from five top web browsers named Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox, Google Chrome, Opera and Safari, simultaneously in a single click.
Bookmarks Backup is a nifty utility and it even requires no installation. This is absolutely free to use and it is a portable tool which you can run on any system by simply carrying on any portable device. When you run its exe file, you will see a window as shown above.
First you will need to put a tick on checkbox on all those browsers of which you want to take back-up. By default, this tool will not allow you to put checkmark on those browsers which are not installed on your system. Now next step is to click on Browse and then choose a location where you want to save the backup of bookmarks of those desired web browsers.
Once you are done with all the settings, simply click on Backup. Then this tool will show you notification that it will take some time to make the backup of bookmarks and you will be required to close all your web browsers and then click on ok.
Then this tool will automatically start taking backup of your browsers and you it will even show you the status from a windows as shown below.
Now once it complete all the process of back-up it will notify you about the same. After that just go to location where you have saved your bookmark and there you will find a folder with name Bookmarks Backup which contains back-up of all your bookmarks.
You can move this folder to any desires location. Now to Restore the bookmarks, you will need to follow the similar steps as you followed to create back-up. So first put tick on check boxes for desired browsers and then from browse locate the folder which contains the backup data and finally click on Restore, to restore all those to respective web browsers.

The size of Bookmarks Backup is just 73.3 Kb and this freeware requires no installation, and you can access it directly from its exe file. This tool is compatible with all the version of Windows and has been tested successfully on Windows 7 Ultimate-32 bit edition.
