Trouble:
One of our reader submitted a problem saying that the windows Search Option is not visible in his Windows Start Menu. This kind of problem can be because of windows settings of because of some malicious scripts or viruses or trojans.
In this post we will tell you how can you simply restore Windows Search Option in Start Menu by simply customizing the Windows Start Menu Settings.
Fix:
To fix this issue:
1. Right click on Windows Task Bar > Properties. This will launch Windows Task Bar and Start Menu Properties as you can see below. Click on Start Menu Tab and Press the “Customize” Button.
2. This will open a Customize Start Menu Window as below. Click on “Advanced” tab and Check the option for “Search” as highlighted below.
3. Press OK, yes you are done
That is it.
Now you can see the search option in the start menu as you see highlighted above.
