Today, we are going to discuss one small utility which can prove to be really helpful in above mentioned scenario.
Volume Concierge is basically a small, easy to use, useful and a freely available application which has been specially developed to automatically change and adjust the volume of your PC. For this, all that you need to do is to define the time and volume percentage which you want to be scheduled according to the volume control rule. It is very simple to use and you may observe that this application allows you to set days and time to run volume control rules at scheduled intervals according to your needs and wish. Along with that it also allows you to add multiple schedules for different date and time so that according to your appointments and meetings it may be adjusted automatically. It allows you to turn each schedule on/off and edit them whenever you want according to the needs and requirements. It provides a check for conflicting schedule as it displays a warning if one schedule comes in conflict with another.
It can be easily installed from the link given below and once you launch it, you may observe that the Volume Concierge has an Add New Volume Rule button on the bottom-left corner of the interface. Once you click that button, it will allow you to add a new schedule as mentioned above. You may also observe that for the first time usage, it requires activation which is basically free and just requires you to specify your email address and doesn’t take much of your time.
After activating it, you can simply start adding new schedules according to your preferences and in order to make changes to the already built schedules, you may turn on the schedule by clicking ON/OFF and then by editing them. You may see a drop down menu, from where you can choose to run the schedule Every Day, only on Work Days or only on Weekends, all according to your needs and requirements. You need to adjust the Volume Bar for changing the percentage of volume to be set at the defined time, as already mentioned.
Although you can set date and schedule but, it doesn’t allows you to choose time of the schedule other than the listed time interval of 15 minute, which is one of the drawbacks of this utility. It also doesn’t allow you to choose the days, other than three day specific options which is already provided, on which you want to run the schedule. Volume Concierge works on Windows XP, Windows Vista and Windows 7.
