[Solved] Reset Wrong Login Email Id Input For Windows 8 Live Account

One of our reader reported a problem recently related to windows 8 in which he entered a wrong email id in windows 8 while adding his live id now he cant reset the email id and because of the email id is wrong so he cant receive and read the verification email and complete the process.

After some research we found that there is simple solution to fix this issue, as there are two accounts you can use in windows 8 to login one is local account and other is windows 8 live account. In case you are locked out because of one account you can shift to another local account following the steps given below.

In this process you first need to create a local account and then reset the existing live id account and then add a new email address,

Step 1:

Follow these steps to create a “Local User account” on windows 8.

1. Press “Windows key +W”.

2. Type “users” without quotes in the search box.

3. Then select “Users” from the left panel.

4. You will get an option “Switch to a Local account” right below your user account name.

5. Select “Switch to a local account” option.

6. Enter the required details.

7. Then login to the local account and follow Step 2: to create a new Microsoft Account.

Step 2:

Follow these steps to create a “Microsoft Account” Live id with hotmail or Live email address.

1. Press “Windows key +W”.

2. Type “users” without quotes in the search box.

3. Then select “Users” from the left panel.

4. Select “Switch to Microsoft account” right below your user account name.

5. Enter the correct Email credentials.

6. Restart the computer and then try to login using new Microsoft account.
