Why Computer Restarts on Inserting USB Pen Drive?

The reason is simple,once some virus has infected the pen drive and has created autorun entries, it can run any-kind of task through auto-play feature.

So to fix it, we first of all need to Disable Autoplay on all removable drives. See this tutorial for the same.

After this, Insert the pen drive, do not open the drive or double click on it, simply insert it. Now its time for some cleaning by removing Virus created autorun entries, see this tutorial for removing autorun entries.
