Trouble 1 :

I have a dvd which i burnt using nero 8. The disk worked great for some day but then the disk stopped working all other dvd work fine its only this one dvd which does not work. I have a feeling it corrupted. How can i make it work or copy the data of it. – Mukesh

Fix:

I would suggest you to put the DVD in a computer having better condition of DVD writer and take the data backup. You can also try cleaning the lens of your DVD writer using lens cleaning kit or Lens cleaning disk. See this article for details : Not Able To Play Scratched CD / DVD

My regedit  and task manager is disabled I have tried some methods but still it is not working. – Ashish

I have a problem that is I can’t remove the folder in my flash drive namely zhengbo. And I have lost my folder option in my computer. – Htoi

 Trouble 4 :

For a while now, when I’ve started my computer my screen displays "frequency out of range", I just power off the machine and it boots up fine. Just today, my computer will not boot up at all. It starts to load, and I can hit enter to "start windows normally" but it doesn’t load anything and the screen is black. I’ve checked all my cables and it was running fine for several hours yesterday.  – Josh

Trouble 5 :

I formatted my computer after that I installed gigabyte drivers, but the sound device is
not working . No sound is heard for any movie. – Anil

Fix:

From your description of problem, it seems that you have installed the Motherboard and Chipset drivers but the sound drivers are still missing. For that you either need to look for these drivers in your motherboard driver CD or you need to download it from Motherboard manufacturer’s website. We have received certain problems from the users reporting that the audio is not working after they have installed / uninstalled certain devices.

For example: one of our readers installed wireless modem and after that the sound of the computer is not working.

Why sound stops working?

Most common reasons for this trouble are:

• Such kind of troubles arise after some device / software is installed which tries to gain control as default sound device.
• Also while un-installation of certain softwares, some shared files are removed. At times some important shared file can be deleted which causes troubles with working of sound drivers.
• While installing certain games, it tries to gain control of sound or video drivers and may accidentally harm these driver softwares.

Lets see the ways to fix such troubles.

Fix:

Step1 : First of all check what is your default audio device setting. For this, open Control Panel > Sounds and audio devices, open Audio tab as shown in picture below.

See that the Device selected is your sound-card or on-board audio device. It should not be blank or some modem device. Set the Default sound playback and sound recording device correctly from the drop down menu. If your device is not there in this list see the step 2.

Step2: If the step 1 is not successful, it means that your sound device driver software has become either corrupt or has been accidentally un-installed. In such case, install the sound driver from the sound-card/mother-board driver CD. You can also download the latest driver if you don’t have the driver CD. After you install the driver, restart your computer, and then check the settings as in step 1 again.
