Scan For Outdated Softwares Installed In Windows And Install Latest Updated Versions

by Rohit Khurana on August 11, 2011

Every computer has its own set of applications and it depends upon the user that for what purpose he or she is using the system. If you are using all the application frequently then all of them might be the latest version as they themselves ask you to update them if they are launched and under but what happens to those who are supposed to be updated every month but you do not use them that frequently, who will take care of them.

Updates are quite necessary because they always add up to the performance of applications; they might remove any vulnerability which may harm your computer. Today I will be reviewing a tool with the help of which you can know about all the applications installed on your computer which are not updated. You can call this tool as software update. You can download it from the link mentioned below and then once you launch this for the first time, it will take some time depending upon the number of applications you have on your system.

You can see the screenshot of the processing window which can be seen when the tool is launched. Now after the tool is launched you can see all the applications listed in the application window and you can also see that on the right hand side there is scanning going on, which tell you that how many tools are supposed to be updated. It will tell the number of tools which are to be updated in the form of a link and once you click that link it will take you to a webpage where all those tools will be listed and their update link will also be available beside them.

So, you just need to use those links to update your tools. You can use this for every two months to have a check on all the tools which are not updated on your computer. The size of this tool is around 2.4 Mb and we have checked it on Windows 7 32-bit Ultimate edition. So please let us know if you face any issue while using this tool.
