hello sir,

i have dell latitude D-630 laptop, in that if i insert my reliance data card than my laptop gets hang and after removing data card my laptop gets restart. plz provide me the solution. asap

I have a proplem that my PC restarts once i plug USP storage like USB flash or Camera or ipod. Please note that mouse is connected vis USB and it works and also my wepcam it works. but the other get my PC to restart.

I pluged the same USB storage in other PC and it works. I scaned it and no Vireses were found.

Please help

Hi

i am getting problem with my pc,some persons are inserting usb’s with out knowing me.so they are not scaning and making my pc problem with virus.so i reuest u to please provide the usb drive lock to my pc even if my pc not have password.

I have a problem that my PC restarts once i plug USB pen drive. Please note that mouse is connected via USB and it is working with ease and also i use usb modem with out problem. but the pendrive get my PC to restart.

I plugged the same USB storage in other PC and it works. I scanned it and no Viruses were found.

It appears more like power related problem to me on your computer. When you connect the Pen-drive, it drives some current, which is usually less than 400mA, if the power supply and USB port circuit on your computer is fine, it won’t have any problem, but if your USB port is not able to deliver correct amount of current, 2 possibilities arise :
1. The USB device will not work
2. Computer may restart due to current imbalance at the Motherboard circuit.

You can consider attaching a PCI to USB card to your PC, which may work, or get your computer’s power supply and motherboard checked for any power related problems.
