[Solved] Windows 8 Stuck in Automatic Repair Loop

Windows 8 is no doubt the fresh version of windows which is much different in looks and offers a great intuitive interface like windows 7 but it has some thing new called modern UI which sits on the top of windows interface and allows you to do things in simple and sleek way but many of our readers might not agree with me here about windows 8 start screen, we had already written on ways to get rid of windows 8 start screen or modern UI in case you don’t need it.

We have heard couple of complaints from users who just upgraded to windows 8 from windows 7 or just purchased a new pc with windows 8 pre installed, for some windows 8 get stuck in automatic repair loop when they restarted after installing a program and others who tried to auto repair windows to fix a problem happening with windows 8. if some thing similar is happening with you and your PC is in automatic loop for auto repair and the repair does not complete even if you leave PC turned on for a day or more.

Now to fix this you can follow the following methods which should work in most of the cases.

Try Restarting Windows in Safe Mode

In such case, try booting the windows 8 pc in safe mode and then check if the windows 8 is working fine and then restart again to make system boot in normal mode, it should work.

Perform Manual Startup Repair on Car

We would suggest you to perform a startup repair using Windows 8 bootable DVD or USB drive.

1. Insert the installation DVD or USB and boot Windows 8 from it.
2. In the ‘Windows setup’ page select the ‘language to install’, ‘Time and currency format’ and the ‘keyboard or input method’ and click on ‘next’.
3. Click on ‘Repair your computer’ and select ‘Troubleshoot’.
4. Click on ‘Advanced options’ and select ‘Automatic Repair’ and select the operating system.
